I keep venting out to my brother about this and i believe he is getting pissed off because he doesn't know what Me be on however I want to chat about Rorouni Kenshin or how I like to call it Oro Oro Kenshin (Since his always saying "Oro" all the time).

Where to begin...

Yes I have a love hate problem with this Manga, you seen when I brought the viz big not too long ago thinking it would for fill all my samurai needs but... the glass is half empty.

Don't worry I wont ruin any details but the Story is promising but doesn't deliever a blow at all.
When I read the first vol. I thought NOOOOOOOOOOOOO £12 down the pan, this is boring and weak like bird turd, I could have used that money to buy junk food and a movie (shit was on the big screen so checkmate @_@) but at the end of the vol. it saved it self to make be try the 2nd viz big.
Now from the 2nd viz big to the 4th (from the top of my head) the story started to improve greatly I was like "finally some worth much much better!" with the whole Shishio story (in which Shishio Makoto is bloody amazing character) but at vol.5-6 i was like WTF! dont give me that typical Manga story line. I wanted to SCREAM! I read in the artists notes that Watsuki recieve mail from fans saying some characters got to strong with I totally agree with.

Okay where am I going with this: If your a fan girl or love the mainsteam then read Rorouni Kenshin because then you will be totally absored by its repeative structure. Okay okay, I have not read all of it even tho i'm doomed to finished off the story now, but if you are unsure this will help you out.

Graphics and visuals:
Are excellent! Some times it fell abit flooded but that is some mean ink and pencil work

Story:
If you know the game you can see whats coming or know how some bits may end. Besides some battles it's shojo with action. like Kaoru being "Keshin NOOOOO" or "Lets return back to Tokyo together". (I like the unpopular characters to the series lol).

Action: Excellent!

Colours:
I prefer black and white but the colours are pretty normal. No comment.

If you can look past the storys cheese and play braindead then your all good! If not you might end up in a love hate relationship like myself. Rorouni Kenshin is not bad it's just you want more for it because in other area it excells more!

Go read Rumiko Takahashi's Ranma1/2 or better yet Hiroki Endo's Eden: It's an Endless World!
